The outdoor swimming season kicked off in Brooklyn Friday as city pools opened for the summer. All 51 pools throughout the borough and city will be open through Labor Day. There is no fee and most pools are open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.Parents are advised to keep a close watch on their children and only let them swim if a lifeguard is on duty.
