News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Allan Nosoff says to expect a pleasant first day of spring in New York City.
OVERNIGHT: Clear and cold. Lows down to 32. Wind gusts subside by midnight.
MONDAY - SPRING BEGINS at 5:24PM: After a cold start (feels like 20s), it'll warm up nicely. Sunny. Highs up to 54. Lows around 40.
TUESDAY: Sunny and awesome! Highs up to 62. Lows down to 45. Watch out for moderate to high tree pollen!
WEDNESDAY: Sunny start, late day clouds. An isolated shower can't be ruled out at night. Highs around 60 again. Lows around 49.
THURSDAY: Even warmer. Partly sunny with highs up to 67. Showers should remain north and west of New York City. Lows down near 50.
FRIDAY: A tricky forecast, depending on where a front sets up. As of now forecasting the warmer side of it, meaning highs close to 70! A few showers possible late.
NEXT WEEKEND: Drying out Saturday, sunny by Sunday. Highs still above average in the 50s, lows in the mid 40s.
