The investigation continues into an officer-involved shooting Friday night in East Flatbush.
The incident occurred at Foster and Utica avenues at around 9:30 p.m. Police say they stopped a van that was illegally operating as a livery cab.
They asked the man inside, 29-year-old Marlon Cox, of Queens, to pull his hands out of his pockets, but he refused.
Police say that Cox was carrying a .25-caliber handgun. One officer fired a shot, grazing the suspect in the arm.
Cox is in stable condition at Kings County Hospital. He faces multiple charges.
The officers involved were treated for tinnitus.
