An early morning shooting in the borough has left one woman dead and a man critically injured.
Police responded to 180 Lefferts Place in Bedford-Stuyvesant just before 2:30 a.m. When officers arrived, they found 32-year-old Tamecca Haskins with a gunshot wound to the chest and an unidentified 34-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds.
Both victims were rushed to Kings County Hospital. Haskins was pronounced dead on arrival, while the male victim remains in critical condition.
Neighbors tell News 12 that a party had taken place on the block earlier in the day.
