TD Bank has agreed to close its doors for the 2017 Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
That includes the bank's location on Marcy Avenue, as well as its 1,400 branches along the East Coast.
While most banks already close on the holiday, TD branches have remained open. The next MLK Day falls on Jan. 16, 2017.
Protesters and civil rights activists in Bedford-Stuyvesant say the bank is making progress when it comes to partnering with the community.
