One of six teenagers to be arrested in the brutal assault of a girl at McDonald's is denying her involvement.
Tilani Marshall is one of three girls who appeared in Brooklyn Supreme Court Thursday for allegedly beating up another teen and stealing her property. Cellphone video of the attack went viral.
According to Audrey Thomas, the 17-year-old's attorney, she was present at the time, but did not participate. Thomas says Marshall is only three credits shy of graduating from high school, has hopes for her future and is a normal teenager just trying to figure life out.
Five others have been arrested, two of which are not being named because they are being charged as minors. The other three have been identified as 16-year-old Aniah Ferguson, 15-year-old Dahvina Gonzalez and 16-year-old Mercedes Wilkinson.
