Police are searching for four men who they say robbed a 16-year-old boy of his scooter and slapped him in the face in Highbridge.

The men surrounded the teen near 1430 Plimpton Ave. around 2 p.m. on April 4.

Authorities say one man demanded the teen's property while simulating a firearm. The teen handed over his keys when another man slapped him in the face.

Two men rode off on the teen's scooter, traveling southbound on Edward L Grant Highway, while the other two ran away, according to police.

The teen suffered minor injuries and was not hospitalized.

Authorities say all four men were last seen in black clothing. Two were observed wearing black ski masks, one with a black durag and the fourth with gray sneakers.

Anyone with information is urged to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
