Temperatures soar for the weekend, another fall day first for Brooklyn

Brooklyn will see a dry day with highs in the mid to upper 60s.

The temperature adventure continues. From the upper 70s and 80s on Monday and Tuesday, to the mid- to upper 60s for Wednesday and Thursday, to the 70s for Friday. The weekend is expected to be in the 80s.
It's been a bit of temperature whiplash, but Saturday-Wednesday temperatures look to stay consistent before a steep plunge back to the 60s for the rest of the work week.
Rain-wise? We are certainly in need of some. But we aren't looking to see any until earliest Tuesday night or Wednesday.
Dry and sunny (and soon to be warm) conditions make for excellent weather for outdoor plans, but we are coupling that with areas of our borough seeing a moderate drought.
Gov. Kathy Hochul has declared a statewide burn ban for the next two weeks, prohibiting outdoor burning and encouraging water-saving methods.
New Yorkers in apartment buildings can help out by taking shorter showers and only doing a load of laundry when you have a full load. Warm, sunny, dry, and breezy conditions can all contribute to the starting and spreading of fire, so be extra mindful over the next couple of weeks.
OVERNIGHT: A few clouds, lows in the lower 50s.
FRIDAY: Sun and clouds. Highs in the low 70s, lows in the low 50s.
SATURDAY: Sunny. Highs in the upper 70s, lows in the upper 50s.
SUNDAY: Mostly sunny. Highs in the lower 80s, lows in the low 60s.
MONDAY: Sun and clouds. Highs in the low 80s, lows in the low 60s.
TUESDAY: Sunshine with clouds. Highs in the low 80s, lows in the mid-60s. Possible late-night rain chances.
WEDNESDAY: Shower chances. Highs in the upper 70s, lows in the low 60s.
