5th day of COVID-19 testing underway at Riverhead schools in effort to avoid full remote learning

A fifth day of testing is underway as the Riverhead School District tries to avoid being forced to go completely remote.
Since in-school testing began on Nov. 20, 16 people have tested positive.
The interim superintendent says if the district does not reach the requirement of testing 20% of in-person enrollment by the end of today, they will be forced to move to full-remote instruction for all schools in the yellow zone.
