New Jersey rocker Bruce Springteen will show his soul with the release of his new album.
The Boss is releasing a new album covering music by Diana Ross, the Temptations and other artists from the '60s and '70s.
In a video he posted on Twitter, Springsteen says he wanted to make an album that was just based around singing.
“I had wanted to do something I had never done before, make some music that is centered around singing,” says Springsteen. “Soul music along with gospel is some of the most beautiful, vocal music ever written or recorded.”
On Thursday, Springsteen released the single “Do I Love You (Indeed I Do),” originally recorded by Frank Wilson.
“Only the Strong Survive” will be released Nov. 11.
