The Cost Of: Tax credits that could save you money this year

It is tax season and News 12 is working to help you save money when you file.
At Dynamic Tax Accounting Service in The Bronx they share some ways you could save this year.
Abdul Chowdhury, with Dynamic Accounting Services, says "... the number one is that if you want, especially if you are self-employed right, this is where you could save money, you want to make sure that you are capturing all the expenses, right. Your travel expense, your vehicle expense, if you are working from home, your home office expense. All of these expenses you want to make sure you are capturing."
Chowdhury also says purchases you made last year may have you tapping into more credits. He says, "If you bought an electric vehicle, right. Your electric vehicle may be eligible for a $7,500 credit. Or you did the home improvements in your home that may be energy efficient right, you might be missing out on up to $3,200 in credits."
