Senior citizen discounts are offered for coffee, restaurants, and more.
Senior citizens on average can save anywhere from 10-80% off on a range of goods and services. Are you taking advantage? 
News 12's consumer reporter Janice Lieberman has The Real Deal on all the extra savings you could be taking advantage of.
Besides savings at restaurants and supermarkets, there are plenty of other discounts seniors should take advantage of. Every state in the country has a property tax benefit for seniors (check links below for your state).
Experts say to always ask for discounts - especially when traveling. Many hotels, rental car agencies, cruise lines and tour companies offer discounts to older adults.
Some cellphone carriers also offer discounts to those 65 and older.
Big savings can also come if you join AARP.
