Many retailers concerned about losing revenue have decided to make customers pay up to $8 per return.  
Stores like Zara make their customers pay $3.95 for returns. J.Crew, JCPenney and Abercrombie & Fitch cost nearly $8. DSW also costs up to $8.50 for customers without a special membership.
