While so much has been costing more, airline prices are down.
"If you are looking for a decline in inflation you are seeing it in airline prices, those are down 18.6% year over year, a lot of that due to lower jet fuel costs. If you are looking at other transportation measures, looking at public transport, taxis or rideshare those prices are essentially flat. And inner city, bus, train or ferry services, those prices are up, especially in the New York area -- about 5%, said Caleb Silver of Investopedia."
Let’s say you want to schedule a trip, what is the most cost-saving way to do it?

“My best advice to people is to you know sign up for an online flight price tracker, when you see a price that you can afford pounce on it,” said Greaves-Gabbadon.
Experts recommend buying a refundable ticket.
