"The state of New York has a pretty mixed picture when you look at the labor economy. New York City has the highest unemployment rate, it is one of the highest unemployment rates in the country at 5.6%, but Suffolk County and Westchester, just 3.5% that's under the national average and Nassau County, just 3.2%,” says Caleb Silver of Investopedia.
