It's the end of an era as the last video rental store in Park Slope is closing its doors.
The Video Gallery had been open on Seventh Avenue for the past 22 years. It began with VHS tapes, before converting to DVDs in 2002. Owner Kathy Smelyansky says the store had more than 17,000 titles from around the world.
Smelyansky says with companies like Netflix gaining popularity, business slowed down.
The Video Gallery will be closing for good on Sunday.
