Thousands gathered in Brooklyn Sunday, tied their sneakers and hit the road in memory of a fallen New York City firefighter.Runners and walkers followed in firefighter Stephen Siller?s footsteps for the fifth year in a row by taking part in the Tunnel to Towers run. Siller was on his way home on September 11th when he heard about the World Trade Center attacks. He ran through the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel all the way to what would become Ground Zero because he couldn?t take his own transportation.Siller died when the towers collapsed.Related Information:Tunnel to Towers Run
