Residents living on East Tremont Avenue in Throgs Neck say they can't get any sleep because two bars keep blasting music late into the night. Residents say that Bridges Bar and Tosca play their music loudly as late as 3 a.m. Neighbors say they've made numerous calls to 311 and to their elected representatives, but that the issue has yet to be resolved. Brook Tisi, owner of Bridges Bar, says he is sensitive to the concerns of nearby residents, and that he is willing to address the volume problems. Officials with the Department of Environmental Protection say they've received two complaints over Tosca's music, but that inspectors did not issue any violations when they visited in June.
