Toffee, a cane korso mix, first arrived at Pitties and Pals Rescue in Jackson as a stray with another dog. Since working with volunteers, she's come a long way and is now ready to find a "furever" home.
According to Pitties and Pals, Toffee is lovable and well-behaved. She has even passed all her temperament tests with volunteers at the shelter. Volunteers at the rescue also say the 1-year-old pep is "eager to please." She walks well on a leash and workers are planning to continue training her on basic commands and behaviors.
A well-behaved pup, Toffee has been at a shelter since February. She's affectionate, loves going on walks and she especially loves her toys.
Toffee's ideal home is one with older children and a fenced-in yard. She's also great around cats.
