Tom "Running Man" McGrath is running six marathons this week in an effort to raise money for New York City students with special needs.
The 64-year-old made a pit stop today at Lincoln High School in Coney Island while on his way to racking up more than 150 miles of running.
McGrath is raising money for Achilles Kids, a part of Achilles International, which helps students with special needs find their inner athlete. He hopes to buy shoes for approximately 7,000 students throughout the city.
During the last school year, Achilles International was able to give out 4,700 pairs of running shoes to students in the Achilles Kids program.
