Top Bronx students took to the field at Yankee Stadium Wednesday to be honored for hitting the books all summer long.
New York Yankees center fielder Curtis Granderson talked with the young bookworms before his game.
The honored students included 7-year-old Michael Pineda, who read 511 books from the Van Cortlandt Library.
