New York City transit workers are sounding the alarm over safety issues on buses and subways.
The city hosted the first national transit workers assault conference Thursday to address a growing number of attacks on employees and urge prosecution to the fullest extent.
Bronx workers joined in the call for more bus cameras and operator safety shields after driver Marlene Bien-Aime was beaten by a passenger in Fordham last June.
