AAA predicts a record-breaking December holiday travel season this year.

The group estimates that 122.4 million Americans will travel at least 50 miles from home between Dec. 20 and Jan 1, and 89% of those will drive.

People like Ryan Charles were filling up at the pump in Brooklyn Wednesday.

“Leave as early as you can. Leave as early as possible as you can because the roads will get crazy, they will get messy. They’ll get messy,” Charles said.
