A large tree fell on Park Place near East New York Avenue in Crown Heights Tuesday morning, bringing down power lines and trapping several cars underneath it.
"I knew it was going to happen. I knew it," said Barry, who is the super of a building just steps away from where the tree fell. He said he wasn't surprised.
"I reported it to 311 yesterday and basically this tree has been growing all the way across to the other side of the sidewalk," he said. "Nobody comes and takes care of it."

Con Edison confirmed there were no power outages connected to the downed tree. News 12 also reached out to the New York City Parks Department and is waiting for a response.
