Two drive-by shootings happened within a month of each other in Suffolk County and less than 4 miles apart.
There was one on the Sagtikos Parkway Friday morning and one on Commack Road last month.
Two men driving two different cars were shot by someone in a third vehicle Friday. Police say it was a targeted attack and that the two victims are related. One victim was shot in the back and drove himself to the police. The other was shot in the wrist and thigh and drove himself to the hospital.
People in the community say these shootings are a huge concern. News 12 spoke with a woman whose backyard sits next to the parkway.
“It’s really crazy to just wake up and put my kids on the bus stop and then find out later on that there was some shooting,” she said.
So far, no arrests have been made. Police have not said if there is any connection between these two shootings.
Anyone with information is urged to call the First Squad detectives at 631-854-8152 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
