Woman arrested on DWI charges with two minors in vehicle

A woman was arrested Saturday night after a traffic stop revealed she was driving drunk with two children in the vehicle, according to the Riverhead Police Department.
Police say they stopped Felisa Elias Chaj at 1521 Old County Road in Riverhead for a non-lit head lamp, but saw that she had bloodshot eyes and the smell of alcohol on her breath.
Authorities also spotted two minors aged 4 and 12 as passengers.
Officers gave Chaj a field sobriety test, which they say indicated she was intoxicated.
She was subsequently arrested and charged with aggravated DWI with a child-passenger less than 16, DWI and other charges.
