Two men are recovering after a shooting late Wednesday night in Flatbush, and police are now searching for three men who took off from the area.
Police said the shooting happened just before 11 p.m. in front of 25 Raleigh St., near Church Avenue.
When News 12 arrived Thursday morning, Raleigh Street was still taped off as investigators searched for clues about what happened.
A worker at a nearby deli told News 12 that one of the men who was shot ran into the store bleeding moments after the gunfire.
Police said a 25-year-old man was shot in the arm, and a 21-year-old man was shot in the leg. Both were taken to Kings County Hospital, where they are expected to recover.
Neighbors told News 12 that groups of people often gather on the corner, and while arguments are not unusual, they were not shocked to see the violence turn into gunfire.
Police have not said what led to the shooting.
Investigators are now looking for three men who left the area after the shooting. Two were last seen wearing all black, while the third was wearing all gray.
