NYPD: Man, woman attack 30-year-old woman in Brooklyn, steal her possessions

Police have released video of a 30-year-old woman being attacked and robbed in Brooklyn earlier this month.

Police have released video of a 30-year-old woman being attacked and robbed in Brooklyn earlier this month.
The NYPD says the attack took place Oct. 6 at 3:14 a.m. in front of 211 Powell St. A woman is seen on video using her phone when a man and a woman walk up to her. The woman punches the victim, who falls to the ground and hits the railing and plants on her way down. The video shows the woman continue to punch and stomp on the victim’s face and head.
Police say the man then took the victim's purse, two cellphones, $50 and her chain before taking off.
The victim was left unconscious and was later taken to Brookdale Hospital where she was treated for trauma to her face and head. She is now in stable condition.
Police are asking for the public's assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
