United Airlines is partnering with New York City to provide free round-trip flights for medical volunteers looking to help in the fight against COVID-19.

The airline is working with the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City, as well as a network of medical volunteer organizations, to coordinate travel for nurses, doctors, nurses and other medical professionals from all around the U.S.

New York City has the most confirmed cases of COVID-19 of any U.S. city.
United plans to expand the program to additional areas in the tri-state.
