Cyclists in Brooklyn raised money for domestic violence survivors and Ukrainian refugees with a Valentine’s Day-themed charity ride on Sunday.  

The event, called Cranksgiving, featured a scavenger hunt with landmarks and checkpoints.  

The first stop was the Aura Cafe in Prosect Park, where the cyclists were challenged to sing a love song and drop off donated items. Then, they tossed candy into a container in Cobble Hill before reaching the finish line in Gowanus.  

Cyclists who participated collected money and items for the JCH of Bensonhurst.

Edith and Carl Marks JCH of Bensonhurst say they are currently serving more than 5,000 Ukrainian refugees.

“We chose them because they're doing good work,” said Cranksgiving organizer Cassandra Brooklyn.
