The NYPD released surveillance video of the shooting that injured a FedEx drive in Brooklyn Monday.
Police say the shooting happened at around 11:15 a.m. at 395 Livonia Ave. They say a 44-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the back and is in stable condition.
Police say the driver was making a delivery and was shot on his way out of the building. They say the suspect was wearing a bubble jacket, white sneakers and track pants.
Sources tell News 12 surveillance video shows the suspect approaching the driver before the shooting and that it was likely targeted because of his occupation.
FedEx issued a statement to News 12 saying, "We are aware of an attack on one of our couriers today in Brooklyn, and our immediate concern is for the well-being of our colleague. The safety and security of our team members is our highest priority. We are gathering more information and are fully cooperating with investigating authorities.”
No arrests have been made at this time, according to police.
