Police are hoping surveillance video will lead them to the man accused of trying to rape a woman in Bed-Stuy. 

According to investigators, the suspect followed a 32-year-old woman into a vestibule in the vicinity of Ralph Avenue and Bainbridge Street and attempted to sexually assault her. It happened at around 8 a.m. Sunday. 

The victim was able to fight the man off, but he did get away with her cellphone. 

The suspect is believed to be in his 30s, about 5 feet 11 inches tall and nearly 200 pounds.
