Friends and family in the Flatbush community gathered Friday night to remember a beloved barber who was killed when a livery cab swerved and struck him.
Keith 'Tickey' Thompson, 38, was closing up his barber shop Monday night when a car accident caused a livery cab to crash into the sidewalk, striking him. Thompson opened his 789 Rogers Ave. shop three years ago.
His wife states that she will keep his barber shop open. Thompson is said to receive a proclamation from the city.
