The FDNY came together for wake services in Marine Park to remember 42-year-old Patrick Brady who died while battling a fire in Brownsville on Nov. 8.

The 11-year veteran of the department collapsed while working on the roof of an all-hands fire along Kings Highway.

His fellow firefighters and FDNY EMS members immediately rushed to help, performing lifesaving measures before Brady was taken to Brookdale University Hospital, where he later died.

Brady comes from an FDNY family leaving behind two of his brothers who are also firefighters, and his wife Kara Brady.

"If I could choose anyone in the world to love, I would choose him over and over again. The 16 years we shared together were the best of my life," said Kara.

The funeral services will be held Saturday at the Church of St. Francis de Sales in Belle Harbor.
