307ds agoAccording to Wallet Hub, Yonkers is now ranked third in the United
States for home and community safety.
The new study shows Yonkers ranks sixth in overall safety on the
company's 2022 Safest Cities in America rankings.
The study also compared more than 180 cities across 42 safety
indicators including the percentage of fully vaccinated residents, assaults per
capita, the unemployment rate and road quality.
In addition, Yonkers ranked 39th for natural disasters and 113th
for financial safety.
