Walmart reverses course on using robots to track inventory
Wayfair's revenue jumped about 67% to $3.8 billion in the third quarter. The home goods company says it reported an increase of 51% year over year as online sales accelerated due to stay-at-home orders caused by the pandemic.
Walmart will no longer be using robots to track its inventory. The retail giant was working with robotics company Bossa Nova to add scanning machines to its stores. They reversed efforts with the company after discovering that humans offer similar results.
Apple is unveiling plans to allow its Apple TV to launch on XBOX Series X and newer PlayStation game consoles. This marks the first time that Apple TV will be available from next-generation game consoles. The feature will give users the ability to watch their favorite shows on the game system.
