Wave Hill Public Garden & Cultural Center held an event to help Bronx families prepare for Monday’s solar eclipse by creating and decorating their own pinhole projection boxes on Sunday.
The DIY project uses cardboard, aluminum foil, and tape as a safe alternative to solar eclipse glasses.
News 12’s Valerie Ryan joined in on the arts and crafts project that you can do from home.
