After spring-like temperatures Wednesday and Thursday, conditions are expected to be much colder and windier this weekend.
According to News 12 Brooklyn Meteorologist Mike Favetta, a downpour is expected to hit Brooklyn this afternoon around 5:30, continuing through the evening until around 10 p.m. when strong winds push the storm out of the area. However, tempertures will remain cold, with highs reaching only the mid-30s.
A high wind watch is in effect until 6 p.m. Saturday, with gusts reaching as high as 60 mph.
