'We're going to rebuild.' Easton farm heavily damaged by storm
No one was hurt, but the farm says it must repair some tunnels connecting its greenhouses, fix busted pipes, clean broken glass near its soil room, and more.

Cleanup efforts are underway at Gilbertie's Organics after Friday night's storm wreaked havoc on the Easton farm, which caused hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages.
"I've never seen anything like this," owner Sal Gilbertie said on Monday. "When you see the damage, it's just incredible."
No one was hurt, but the farm said it must repair some tunnels that connect its greenhouses, repair damaged pipes, clean broken glass near its soil room and more.
A massive oak tree in the parking lot also came down during the storm.
Gilbertie's Organics says none of its crop producing areas were damaged.
"We're going to rebuild," Matt O'Ricchio said. "We're farmers, that's what we do."
State Sen. Tony Hwang said he's pushing for federal and state dollars to help the farm get back to normal.
"We have done this for other farms that have been impacted by storm damage," Hwang said. "I think it's really important for our state, federal and local governance to understand it is important to step up, help support the losses here and keep our local farms sustainable and successful."
