News 12 returned to Fragole Ristorante after visiting over the summer to see how the small business is doing during what they're calling a dark winter.
Owner Victor Navarette says since the temperatures have dropped and indoor dining closed, business has been far from booming.
"Sales are very, very bad. We have to keep it open otherwise it will close for good and that's something we don't want to do," he said.
From the fresh pasta, to the cocktails, the staff at Fragole says they treat their customers like family and you don't have to leave Brooklyn to get a taste of true Italian cuisine.
Navarette says the fight for this small business to make ends meet is far from over.
"We will fight to survive," he said. "This wont kill us. We will keep going."
