Suyo Gastrofusion, the Highbridge restaurant that specializes in Latin-Asian fusion dishes and cocktails, is back open.

The eatery closed in March due to the restrictions put in place because of the pandemic.

During that time, they worked with Off Their Plate to help feed frontline health care workers. They opened their outdoor dining deck the first week of September, and now they're also serving customers at indoor tables as well.

“So we started out with outdoor dining. It was only a few tables. And of course, beginning this month we're up to 25%. Now that's not enough, especially for the business here in the Bronx. We need to try to get to the 50%, so we can get the economy going. A good start was the Restaurant Act. Congress did a bipartisan act and that's going to help us out, but we need the Senate to follow suit and sign the bill," says manager Nilson Diaz.

Suyo Gastrofusion is open for dining every day except Tuesday.
