Weston woman charged with DUI smiles in mugshot following arrest
A Weston woman was charged with DUI after leaving a local brewery and appeared to smile in her mugshot, police say.
Lauren Rivera, 22, was charged with DUI Friday after a traffic stop.
Police say someone reported Rivera was intoxicated and left the Nod Hill Brewery in Ridgefield while driving a black-colored Buick Lacrosse that was headed toward Wilton.
Police say they found Rivera and conducted a traffic stop.
Rivera failed a sobriety test and was placed under arrest, according to police.
She also had a blood alcohol level of 0.2154.
Police released Rivera's mugshot after her arrest.
She was released after posting 10% of her bond and given a court date of April 4 in Stamford.
