The L train is partly suspended this weekend due to scheduled track work.
As of Saturday, there are no L trains between Broadway Junction and Canarsie Rockaway Parkway.
Here's what you need to know while traveling on Saturday and Sunday:
Shuttle BusFree buses will be operating and stopping along two routes. The first route is the L91 Shuttle Bus which will make all stops between Broadway Junction and Canarsie Parkway.
The second nonstop shuttle bus also runs between Broadway Junction and Canarsie Rockaway Parkway. Commuters can transfer between trains and shuttle buses at Broadway Junction. When exiting at Canarsie Rockaway Parkway, Livonia Ave, or Broadway Junction, commuters should get a "go" ticket for re-entry to the subway.
Some commuters told News 12 the track work is an inconvenience, but better planning could help ease to ease it a little.
“Whenever the trains aren’t really running, I have to take the bus shuttles..." said Jazmine Thomas, of Canarsie. "It could also be a really big inconvenience towards me. They should really have another way of dealing with the situation, like probably have one track open at least so we can have the train still flowing smoothly."
Be sure to check the MTA Train Time app or website for any changes.
