Wicked wind gusts expected in New York City Monday could reach 60 mph

It is in effect from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Winds will be up to 25 to 35 mph and gusts up to 60 mph are also possible.

The National Weather Service has issued a high wind advisory for New York City that will last all day Monday.

It is in effect from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Winds will be up to 25 to 35 mph and gusts up to 60 mph are also possible.

Officials urge residents to be cautious when they are outdoors, secure objects outside of their homes and be prepared for possible power outages.
