New York City chose a handful of city residents as their boroughs' official Instagram "ambassadors."
Williamsburg resident Matthew Budjinski beat out a field of roughly 2,000 applicants in a competition to post under the city's official @NYCGOV handle.
He will represent Brooklyn. Once a week, an ambassador from each of the five boroughs will post on the official Instagram.
Budjinski says he uses real film to shoot his photographs, a rarity today.
He says he wants to capture more photographs of the Brooklyn Navy Yard -- "a hidden gem," in his words.
