Wilton police are trying to identify a person who allegedly tried to break into a home Wednesday night.
"If you see anything," Deputy Chief Robert Cipolla says, "please forward that to our investigators because that will certainly help our investigation."
Ring doorbell footage shows a masked person at a door of a Buckingham Ridge Road home around 9:45 p.m.

"I was certainly still awake at the time," neighbor Kevin Bernhard says, "which makes it even more frightening that something like this would happen."
The video then shows the person turning around and walking out of the camera's view.
"Oh my god!" neighbor Ava Ray says. "I'm just surprised they even tried going up to the door because everybody has cameras like that now."
Officers responded to the home, searched the outside of the property, and canvassed the neighborhood for the suspect.
K-9 teams from Westport police and Ridgefield police also responded to the home to track the area.
Police believe the man was driving a dark colored small SUV or hatchback.
"It's unnerving to hear it," neighbor Frank DeRosa says. "I hope somebody finds out what happened and the perpetrator is caught."
Anyone with information is asked to call the police at 203-834-6260.
"We're going to follow down and track down every lead," Cipolla says, "and hopefully hold this offender accountable."
Police are also reminding residents to lock their doors and windows, utilize motion-activated lighting, and install security cameras.
