An overnight wintry mix took a toll on Brooklyn roads and sidewalks, creating a slick commute this morning.
Drivers were forced to take it slow and watch for black ice, which is still a possibility on wet bridges despite the warmer temperatures.
Motorists are also reminded to check their tires and make sure they aren't deflated or balding, which can caused reduced traction.
