Witnesses say a human fetus was found Tuesday morning inside the Saratoga Village Houses in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
Police say they received the call at around 10:30 a.m. from 3335 Saratoga Ave.
Witnesses told News 12 that workers called paramedics and police after finding a human fetus in the stairwell.
Police have released few details of their investigation, but say they are working to piece together what happened and how the fetus wound up in a stairwell.
The medical examiner took the remains away for examination.
