An investigation is underway in White Plains after witnesses tell News 12 that a man was shot on Thursday.

They say he was shot at 33 Fisher Court just before 4 p.m.

News 12 cameras were on the scene just minutes after it happened, with the victim on the the ground, attended to by officers.

At one point, the man was placed on a stretcher, with police performing chest compressions before he was taken away in an ambulance.

Officials have not confirmed the extent of his injuries but witnesses tell News 12 the victim was shot in the upper body.
