The woman charged with fatally stabbing an 85-year-old man inside his Flatbush apartment last week is being held without bail.
Police say they found Edill Gonzales with multiple stab wounds, and 48-year-old Nicole Waiters of the Bronx trying to leave the apartment.
Waiters told investigators that there was an argument between them over payment for sex.
At her court appearance Saturday, Waiters said that Gonzalez charged at her with three knives when she grabbed one and stabbed him, acting in self-defense.
Waiters was also charged with assault earlier this month in a separate case and is due back in court on Thursday.
